HEALING in Los Angeles Long Beach Theatre reviews
Ripoff
The VIP tickets were a waste of money. Horrible sound quality was experienced at the west end of the venue. Have seen a7x several times and this was the worst sound quality. You could barely hear Chevelle. The sound was poor even when standing front row in the middle of the stage. The VIP listening/viewing area on the East end in front of the speakers provided the best sound quality you could get, which wasn't great. The lines for drinks and bathrooms in the VIP areas were no better than general admission. We did skip a band to get in front stage position for the Cult, who were a huge disappointment. The VIP bathrooms were locked up by the end of the evening due to overflow and disgusting conditions. The other bands either due to sound quality or performance weren't great. Volbeat, Alterbridge, and Rev Theory were impressive. Unless you were close to the stage or right in front of a stack of speakers, you weren't going to get any shot at OK sound. Because you had to travel from one end of the venue to the other to see the good bands, you didn't get good position unless you decided to skip a band and wait at one end for the next band. Especially true as the headliners played. As noted, the VIP listening areas were horrible on the west end and marginally acceptable on the east end. Will never attend HEALING in Los Angeles again.
